Following potential 2013 draftees

Once again please let me know what you guys think, the next one I will do will be on Monday. Any suggestions, criticisms, or comments etc. I will be doing this regularly heading up into the draft, every other day or so.

Forget what position we need most. We should use this draft to replenish our bench then fill our position of need in next years deep and talented draft

What Thee said. Just draft BPA.

If I understood the original question correctly, the answer for the Jazz is the wing. SG or SF, always has been. Ty Corbin hasn't changed that.

But Dalamon's post got to me thinking....

if the Jazz go pg at 14, doesn't that impact Burks the most? I expect Foye and Hayward to eat up all the minutes at sg, and Hayward and DeMarre/Evans all the time at sf. Last year when everyone was injured Burks was playing pg, but he is a back-up pg, not a starter. And if the Jazz draft a pg at 14, they will most certainly sign a veteran pg to teach him the ropes. Those two will eat up the bulk of the minutes, leaving a few for Burks. That makes Burks the 3rd string pg and 3rd string sg? What a waste of a pick. Jazz really made a mess of a #12 pick in the draft or developing him or both. Hopefully it shakes out different but I suspect Burks is the prize the Jazz are dangling to move up.

I think Burks will play the 6th man off the bench role next season (similar to the way Hayward play the bulk of last season). Burks will also be our 3rd PG effectively if need be.

Love it bro. LOVE IT - LOVE IT - LOVE IT!!!

I'm not sure if your serious or not. Lol

I'm serious.

- Schroeder at #14 would be a steal of the draft, mark my word.

- Allen Crabbe is a great 3pt shooter. He has good size and has potential on defense. That's exactly who I want starting at the SG spot, hitting 3's and defending the other team's scorer. Reggie Bullock and Tony Snell are the others I'd consider here.

Here goes nothing:

I think that your draft is quite realistic. Here are a few changes that I would make-

Len to the Kings so that they have something in place in case they do trade Cousins.
Pistons take Bazz.
MCW drops to the Trailblazers.
Bennett tumbles all the way to the Bucks.
I don't like the Crabbe pick for the Jazz.
Larkin falls to the Knicks.

My thoughts exactly, except the steal part, I don't know that much about Schroeder to go that far.

He doesn't seem to have a motor for defense.
