What's new

Following potential 2013 draftees

Another thought, imagine going to a basket everyday in practice with Favors defending that basket. I think Schroe will improve that part of his game fairly quickly. He learned how to work with these new teammates within a week, imagine how he would improve with a full training camp.

Guys. We need this kid on our team.

He is totally the last piece to our rebuild. Re-sign Sap/whatever 3rd big, re-sign Carroll, get a good specialty shooter and some random 4th big. Boom.

Yeah he looks like a pretty smart and creative dude with the way he passes, etc.

Honestly from what I've seen, if his 3pt shot is legit, I'd take in #14.

Most people in Germany speak English quite well (probably technically better than most Americans). And basketball's unofficial language is English as well. This is literally one of the least important things to be concerned about.

my comment was sarcasm. was trying to be a Debbie downer

I still have McCollum higher on my list than Schroeder, but I'm guessing McCollum will be gone by 14. If the Jazz decide Schroeder's the guy, I think they'll just pick him at 14. I remember when they picked Gordon Hayward, some people thought it was a reach in that draft, but there's no point debating 3 or even 5 spots at that stage in the draft. The only question is whether there's another player on the board that the Jazz fall in love with.

The really good thing is, it's not like the Jazz Front Office don't know about him. They were there at the game!

I think the fact that both KOC and Lindsey were there is a great sign actually. Tells me they're seriously considering this guy.

I'm sure it was also to see the other players from the 2014 draft, Parker, Wiggins, Randle, Harrison(s), etc. I think Shroder has a big chance of definitely being considered for one of the Jazz picks. I obviously was mislead with Schroder's free-throws. I saw the last couple he took and he missed 3 out of 4, but he did end up 7-10. All in all a really good game for him, 18 points (5-10 from the field), 6 assists, 2 rebounds. Well, he was playing against top guards for next year, Andrew Harrison and Kasey Hill. Just all in all a pretty good game, I love the haricut plus dye in his hair. Shroder was being pressed for a lot of the game and ended up with 3 turnovers.

If anything that'll count against him. I guarantee you Lindsey would have a word with him after he's drafted. (ala Kanter's costumes)

My "This is too good to be true" senses are raging right now. But yeah. Draft the **** out of this kid.

To non-JazzFanz reading this: just kidding. Kid sucks. Europe sucks. No chance.

Burke is top-5, McCollum is top-10, next up is Schroder right now he is in the 20's range and would not be surprised if he moved up into the 14-16 range.

I thought the way he handled the trap and the ball pressure was the most impressive thing he showed today. Really good poise and ball control.
