Following Potential 2018 Draftees

They could possibly move Lowery for the 16th pick. Maybe for the 13th pick?

I could see the Suns doing that. Their GM did say that they want to compete for the playoffs next year.

C Ayton
PF Chriss
SF Jackson
SG Booker
PG Lowry

Not sure that would get them to the playoffs in the west but maybe it would if everything went right for them.

Why, because he is an NBA player?

I remain confused about the Tony Bradley pick.

The Jazz have always wanted the backup to DFavs IMO. They thought Trey Lyles could be that guy - didn't work out. They went out and got Tony Bradley - but he's really a Center, not a 4.

That's why I think Keita Bates-Diop could be high on the Jazz's list come draft day at #21. His size and shooting makes him a true stretch 4 in today's NBA.

Well that's just it, Bradley was always a center... so... why?

Anyway, I like KBD, but I have also cooled a bit. He separates himself from the 3/D pack (which is like half the draft) with his shot-blocking and length. I think he's limited but should make the rotation if he was the pick. I don't really see any upside there, though.

I'm honestly higher on Spellman.

Oh for ****s sake.

Being 6’5 with a 6’6 wingspan puts you at a disadvantage which makes it a weakness.

6’5 with a 7’0 wingspan is a strength.

If he didn’t have any weaknesses the dude would be going in the lottery.

The Jazz took Bradley because they liked him and thought he was a good value where they got him. That's basically it. They liked him and picked him.

KBD is more mobile than Spellman and I have a feeling that's more what the Jazz is looking for. I think if Huerter is on the board at #21 he is BPA, but KBD could really fill the gap if they don't bring back Favors.

It's okay to have one or two guys in your lineup with an average wingspan or below average wingspan, but if you fill your roster with these guys then it is a detriment to your overall defense.

Besides that he plays a position of little value in the modern NBA, he plays the same position as the team's franchise player who has 0 range.

Furthermore, his "highlights" are ****ing dreck.

I'm pumping the brakes here because the Jazz obviously have an elite front office but that whole thing was a whiiiiiffffff. Trading assets to move up to grab a guy that is destined for G-League greatness, *fart sound*.
