Satoransky is a guy I think would thrive with us. Really like his versatility. I don’t think they’d do it either... makes me sad.

Not a huge fan of Musa, but I'd rather pick him for the offensive potential than a lot of prospects we are talking about.

We have defensive stoppers. O'Neale, Exum, DM and the paint protector Rudy. We need more offensive weapons. Especially guys who can spread the floor.
Huerter, Musa, Robinson, and KBD fit that bill.
 
Jonathan Givony had some interesting comments on the Lowe podcast..

He said that he doesn't believe that Denver is going to trade #14 to get rid of Kenneth Farieds contract. He does think that they may trade down though. Which is something that has been discussed here in this this thread. It would explain why they have been working out players projected in the late teens and 20's.

He said picks #12 to #18 are "wide open" right now, lots of trade talk

He contradicted himself on the subject of Luka Doncic. He said the good teams love Doncic and the bad teams HATE him. But then he said Memphis has interest in Doncic at #4 and Dallas WILL take Doncic if he falls to #5. I thought Memphis and Dallas are bad teams? Lol

Probably more consistently badly run teams who perennially lose.

Nah Memphis and Dallas definitely aren't as bad as the likes of the Kings or the Suns or the Hawks or the Magic.
 
I have a feeling the Hawks will end up with two lottery picks. #3 and another one in the late lottery. They've been talking to Denver about a trade for #14, Givony mentioned they might trade for one of the Clippers picks, Hornets at #11 might be a trade partner for them too. The Hawks have #19 and #30 if one of those teams wants to move back. They could also trade Schroder. Or take on a salary dump.
 
The Clippers are really interesting at 12 and 13.

It’s a crime that Patrick Beverley has only the 10th biggest salary on that team.

I wouldnt be surprised if we picked him. Would be Favors insurance, and seems to have a lot to his game.
Watched his combine interview, and he has a good head on his shoulders. Solid guy, who would fit in with our culture.

I wonder if we could trade back and pick him up?

Good stuff on the Washington trade stuff.

For it to work for sure, we would do 2 separate trades:
Burks for Gortat
then
Player Exception and #21 for Meeks and #15

I'm not certain that I do that, but it all depends on how much DL values somebody at #15.
