My work is paying me for Yaxel Landeborg film session today. I wish I had some more film against better competition. He looks like a giant in that league. The one thing that is really interesting watching him is how often he is guarding much smaller players out on the perimeter. He probably has more reps out on the perimeter than any of the bigs, you can feel his 7'4" wingspan out there. He also has to dribble against these small players as well, and does a good job for a big.

I need to watch a bit more, but I think he has potential as a defensive playmaker that can do enough offensively to stay on the floor. I'm going to compare against some other guys who might be available at 21, but he's in the mix for me as of now.

I would like to believe in Yaxel, but yeesh his athletic testing was really disappointing. He was basically neck and neck with Yang in all testing.

There are some interesting bigs in this draft: Raynaud, Sorber, Beringer, etc. The Jazz can decide what style of big they want and likely get one in this range.

We all should just fully embrace Yang at 5. Was thinking about how he compared to Queen and I don't know if I can put Yang under Queen. But I also love Queen and have him very high. Is Yang top 5 the true answer? I think it might be.

Some players try to manipulate their athleticism score by tanking their standing reach measurement. Wonder if it's the case here. He measured 36.5 max vert... does he look that athletic on tape? He looks pretty ground bound to me...

If he was any more ground bound, he'd be a rock.

This dude supposedly having a higher max vert than Flagg is a joke.
