Following Potential 2025 Draftees

Still crazy to think about the fact that Indiana stole Pascal out of Toronto with Bruce fricking Brown, whereas Knicks overpaid massively to get the inferior player in OG.

That's the biggest point. We opened up the Flip mystery box and it is moving in the best case direction. Queen is still a mystery. Big advantage Flip.
Queen reminds me too much of Big Al (if Big Al was a better passer, maybe it’s just how he “moves”) and I just cannot get into that. I’m forever scarred by that bum.

Fleming has a nicer handle than I was expecting, but man, he is way too functionally small to play center in any real way. Just no presence in the paint.

Feels like just a really good rebounding PF if he pans out.

Philon's handle is tighter than I remember, and it gives me more confidence he can play PG at some point. His ast/to ratio is the best of any of the Freshman pgs and although he isn't the most creative passer, he's still very good and potentially held back a little by playing with who he did.

His defense will be good enough to keep him on the floor and offensively he has a floater and can catch and shoot well enough to allow him time on the floor to expand his game.

He's 100% the player type that I like, so he'll be much higher on my board than he might deserve, but I think he's a good enough bet to improve over time that I'm comfortable with it.

Good player. Wish he wasn’t as light as he was but he’s really high on my list for 21.

Think Philon is every bit as good as recent defensive guards like Black, Wallace, and Castle. But he is like 25+ lbs lighter and that matters a lot for these guys. Don’t think it should cause him to fall to second round though.

I won’t look into Yaxel much until he’s confirmed, but who does he play like? Seems pretty intriguing on paper.
I'm bad at comps, so I'm not going to try.

Offensively he does a little bit of everything. He handles a little, passes a little, is comfortable pulling up from mid range, drives to the basket, takes catch and shoot 3s. It's just hard to say what will actually translate because of the competition. He tends to try and do too much sometime, but that's kind of his role.

Defensively he is very comfortable guarding out on the perimeter. He's not the quickest mover, but gets low to the ground and uses his giant wingspan to play against much quicker players. He has very good reaction time to make up for limited athleticism. He's long enough and strong enough to defend bigger players, but the league he is in didn't provide many reps to really see what he could do against true bigs.
