Following Potential 2025 Draftees

i'm praying the real draft mirrors your mock draft. would be incredible to trade down, get an asset and still end up with Tre.

In my head, if Ace is on the board at #5 we take him no matter what.

A) Ace is the highest on our board, we don't care about the agent stuff
B) Ace is not highest on our board, but we trade to WAS for #6 and Fears
C) Ace is not highest on our board, but we trade to NOP for #7 and Kon/Tre (whoever they don't draft at #4)

It is possible that WAS/NOP trade up even higher than 5 for Ace, but I'm feeling good about the top 7 picks. Famous last words.

"Sources say the Utah Jazz have done significant homework on Tre Johnson, who's also a strong fit based on the team's current roster," Wasserman wrote, "His shotmaking has teams picturing a high floor and instant, translatable offense. The trouble some have with Johnson focuses on his shot selection and lack of passing, and whether they'll lead to inefficient stretches that negatively affect his value... A more potent one-on-one game could give him an edge over Kon Knueppel, who'll also be in the best-player-available discussion."

I'm ready for Tre Johnson.

Demin is overvalued in Utah. He is a decent project, but that is about it. He shows flashes and has very good size, but his in-game shooting is poor, he wasn't even the best layer on his college team, and he looks confused as to what to do frequently on the court. Fair value at 21 although I'm sure there would be better fits on the board. Certainly don't give up assets to move up to get him.
