Who actually can guard dwill, rose, paul, westbrooke, brndon jennings, wall, on and on?

The new rules have made guys like Parker, Jennings, Rose, etc unguardable. Any touch is a foul. And if you don't touch, it's an instant blowby. No human can stay in front of those players one on one.

If the Jazz are going to build around Jefferson, they don't need a PG with elite handles like DWill. All Jimmer needs to do is bring the ball up the court, look for open guys, if not hit Al in the post. Jimmer then becomes more or less a SG where he camps behind the 3 point line to space the floor for Al. That is pretty much as advanced as offense you can have if you want to build around Al, whether we should build around him is another topic entirely.

Opposing pg's already do. Harris gets blown by every possesion. So did dwill. The difference is jimmer could drop 40 any given night, where with with either of those dudes if 40 happens its an anomaly.

I think it translates, the NBA is better about spacing and using screens than the NCAA.

I could see Jimmer getting 10 points a night just off curl plays, let alone any three balls he hits. Right now the Jazz miss that curl play because Hayward isn't yet particularly good at shooting while in motion.

This is why I compare him to Reddick. Reddick also hit that wall and almost collapsed, but then fought through, figured out how to adjust to the rigors of the NBA, and is now a solid contributor. Jimmer willl likely go down the same path, but his more all-around game than Reddick may help him adjust. However I am afraid that some team will pick him up thinking he is a combo of Parker and Reddick somehow and expect more of him than he can actually do and he will therefore be broken before he can adjust.
