I want Tomic. He'd instantly be the best passing big that the Jazz have. They have the money to buy him out, and still add another player or two if they want to.

What the Jazz really need is a defensive wing who can guard LeBron, Melo or Durant at the end of a game. I just don't think that they have that guy right now.

Hence, Ebanks.

I was surprised Ebanks didn't get picked up last year. I like him more than all of the non guaranteed scrubs we have right now. He reminds me of Ariza on D, but he's not much of a shooter.

Dude, if Ebanks can be that kind of defensive presence, then he'd have a team. For me, that's just logic. Aminu is a much surer thing as a defender of this caliber. But if Ebanks can be 80% of the defender that Aminu is, and he has that 3-pnt shot, then I'm ALL-IN.

If he can come in defensively and get a stop at the end if the game, I don't care. They need a cheap defensive wing. Short term contract - one or two years. Fine. Aminu, Ebanks. Doesn't matter. They just need that guy to fill out the roster. He's not going to be getting time over Hayward and Hood, but it would be nice to have a guy if they need one. That's the main reason I'd be fine with Aminu. Coach Q. And company can work on the shot, but the only thing I'm looking for out of him is that perimeter defense.

I do like Aminu better than Ebanks, but the contract is key. Don't want to lock into a long term deal with so many assets still in play.

What do you think of Amath M'Baye?? Apparently the Spurs like him and almost drafted him last year, he left early as a JR, and played in the Japanese Leagues last season.

Hes went to OU and Kanter's High School, Stoneridge Prep. 24 years old, 6'9, 6'11 wingspan, 215lbs.

Looks like he can shoot... and handle some.. and those dunks..
