Brock Motum has shown well, but M'Baye looks better.
Plenty of teams with salary cap space, but two early favorites to make bids on Carlos Boozer: Charlotte and Atlanta.

HA HA! Can you imagine a front court of Boozer and Jefferson?
They would score a heck of a lot of points but be horrendous on D.
Perhaps Booze and Sap can be reunited.

What do you think of Amath M'Baye?? Apparently the Spurs like him and almost drafted him last year, he left early as a JR, and played in the Japanese Leagues last season.
Hes went to OU and Kanter's High School, Stoneridge Prep. 24 years old, 6'9, 6'11 wingspan, 215lbs.
Looks like he can shoot... and handle some.. and those dunks..
Not at $7 million per year. I like Marvin, but not at that salary. I don't disagree with your analysis. I'd feel better about things if they knew for sure that it was better to play Burks off the bench and keep Hayward at SF. With that said, I don't think that's the case. I don't think that you can count on Hood yet, but I could see him get some pt at the 3 with Hayward and Exum in the backfield (that's a long 1-2-3). I think that you probably see Burke, Burks, Hayward, Kanter and Favors as the starters to begin the year and adjustments can be made as Gobert, Hood and Exum get more experience.Am I the only one that is still worried about the SF position? Here's how I see our team right now:
PG - Burke, Exum, Lucas
SG - Hayward, Burks, Exum
SF - ???, Hood, Hayward
PF - Kanter, Booker, Novak, Evans
C - Favors, Gobert
That's 12 people right now, and I know a lot of people are all over Burks at SG, but I'm not.
Hayward had better PER, and similar advanced stats across the board as Burks going against better competition and being the focus of the defense, while Burks was able to come in and take advantage of the other team's bench and not be keyed on defensively.
I like Hayward as a 16 million per year SG a lot better than as a SF.
If you run Burke and Exum at PG, and Hayward and Burks at SG, you are pretty solid. But that means you no longer have a starting SF.
So, the question at the end of all my blabbering is this:
Is there a SF worth giving minutes to available? Marvin would have been perfect for us this year.
