I have re-watched Season 1 (and caught a lot of stuff I missed when I plowed through it the first time) and I am 2/3 through the first book and continuing on through the series. I can't wait to see the new episode tonight. Winter Is Coming! And I might too!

Tonight's episode was okay, but I felt like they were so busy trying to touch on absolutely every character that it fell kind of flat. They never stayed with one character group long enough to get much momentum going.

I also didn't like the new scene with Littlefinger and Cersei at all. It seemed very out-of-character for Littlefinger to be that ham-fisted with threats. He's not a guy who makes mistakes like that.

I saw George say something in a video interview recently to the effect of "Jack Gleeson is a really sweet kid... he really doesn't deserve all these people hating him because the character he plays is such an *******!"
