why everyone is mad at trey? he is who he is
it's all about the the gm that couldn't see his ceiling
and the coach that gives him 33mpg and green light to shoot like an allstar
Was favors getting over the flu or something, he seemed disengaged most of the game?
That's just him. Some games he's into it, many he isn't. We need to accept that if we are to move forward with him as an anchor.
Perhaps getting 7 shot attempts had a bit to do with it. Hard for a big man to have an impact on O when the PG is too busy throwing bricks. Fav still had 11 rb and 2 blocks.
I am quite certain that DL and QS are not oblivious to this. I DO wonder what they are thinking about Brick. I have not heard his issues discussed by either of them. Caught a fair bit of the weekly discussion with DL on the radio and do not remember trey coming up in conversation, while Kanter and his D was. And can you imagine what it would do for Favors, Hay, Enes et al to have someone like Teague handling the ball?
I wonder what it would take to get Shröder from ATL. I wonder if Trey and the next GSW pick would do it? That might seem like a lot, but I think we might come out better in the long run. We'll never get Teague... but his understudy (and a former Quin project) might be a good get.
I'm sure ATL is super excite to get Burke after last night. Probably ringing the Jazz up right now.
