GO GET GEORGE HILL

George Hill had the 5th highest PER for a PG in the NBA last season.

"Not worth a late lottery pick and a late 1st round pick."

White Chocolate logic.

**** man, I actually like George Hill.. Poor guy, once Cy hypes you up your career goes down the drain.

First the Shaqtin' A Fool MVP

Then the 22nd pick in the draft (best pf in the draft according to Cy)

Now George Hill (top-15 pg in the NBA according to Cy)

You are going downhill man, thought you were smarter than this, but apparently not. For some reason you want to play contrarian to everything that is common sense.

But who cares it's your life not mine (thank god).

There is no comparission between the NYC teams and this GSW's team.

The pick is going to suck. Package it with assets while it still has some value.

They are the same in that anything can happen when you are two years away. Again, why trade that pick when we can put protections on our own picks and we have the OKC pick? There's no reason to do it, outside of a chance at a star. I like George Hill, but Utah has enough assets to go after him if they want, without giving up that pick.

Lol bro you already know the draft order in 2017!!! Holy ****, please tell.

You are right. Anything can happen.

That being said, I'd rather capitalize on what value that pick has now (or near future/before the season in which the pick occurs in), because it probably has more value as a trade asset in the present than it does as an actual draft piece or trade asset in the future.

Even if some crazy **** happens and the Warriors narrowly miss the playoffs ala teh Thunder, Lyles and the 12th-14th pick in 2017 is still worth George Hill.

The only reason you don't ****ing throw a celebration parade to get George Hill with Lyles and the GSW 2017 pick is because you have Exum and it's probably a good idea to see what kind of improvement he can make in his 2nd year before you start limiting his minutes a little bit for the betterment of the team.

Yeah, I thought this was a given. If Utah was relying on Trey Burke as our starting PG, it's a different discussion.

The fact you judge Otto Porter's career through a couple of lowlights is telling. The man just balled out in the playoffs and you can't even give him credit.

You don't know basketball, clearly.

What are you talking about? I just said he was Shaqtin' A Fool MVP which is a fact, is it not?

Bagel boy, your comebacks are weak. You clearly lack any common sense.

If it was our only asset, I might agree, but we can trade our next 2 picks protected and the OKC pick in any potential deal. That way we protect ourselves from trading away the #1 pick overall when the GS team plane plunges head first into the Wasatch front.

Throw a celebration parade for George hill? I think you might over rate him a bit.

HOLY **** AN UNPROTECTED PICK FORM THE TEAM THAT JUST WON THE CHAMPIONSHIP?!?!?! I HAD NO IDEA!!!!

*Sarcasm* The Warriors aren't falling off any time soon. That pick will be #23 at best.
You are likely right, but you are not definitely right.

Cappy is spot on. If the Jazz wanted this deal they could get it done using one of their own protected picks in place of the GS unprotected pick. That probably has more perceived value to Indy, anyway, and we would retain the rights to a pick that has the possibility (though not the likelihood) of being golden.
