Gobert locks down Doncic: Best Twitter Reactions

Yeah, if there was a "NOPE" stat I think Gobert would be the all-time leader in that stat and it wouldn't be close.
And if they didn't nope on out of there his blocks would be a lot higher.

Great point, but you can only compare stats when what's presented is a list of stats.

3.2 blocks vs 2.2 blocks is kind of huge. 2.2 blocks is extremely respectable, 3.2 is up there in the elite of the elite range. Eaton had the best average ever at 3.51.
2.2 blocks today is like 4 blocks back then

Dwight Howard career per 36:

58.7% FG
56.6% FT
60.2% TS%
13.4 rebounds
21.1% TRB%
1.5 assists
1.0 steals
2.0 blocks
17.8 points

Rudy Gobert career per 36:

65.1% FG
63.5% FT
66.8% TS%
13.9 rebounds
21.6% TRB%
1.6 assists

14.8 points

Howard beats Gobert in two categories -- points and steals -- by 3 points and 0.2 steals per 36. Dwight was regarded as one of the top 5 players in the league for a while, and top 10 for quite a while.

Also, I messed up on the blocks per 36 for Rudy and had them at 2.2 when it's really 2.7. I'll go correct that.

I have always felt Gobert was a top 7 player
