As long as GS beats everyone under them, I hope they lose to everyone above them. Pick is looking increasingly safe...

With 20 games left...

-GSW are currently sitting at the 9th worst record between Portland and Cleveland. They are one game "behind" Portland (a difference of two wins and the same amount of losses), and 2.5 games "ahead" of Cleveland.
-Hollinger's projection has them finishing 9th worst, "behind" Portland by 3 games, and "ahead" of Cleveland by 3 games.

Pick is sitting pretty cozy for the moment. I just need some wood to knock now.

Clay Thompson had a monster game 31 points. I remember before the draft, Thompson and Burks were the two I wanted with the 12th pick, and after the 10th pick was made I was really exited. I think both will be very good players. I do like Thompson a lot. I did want Thompson a little more because I thought his shooting ability was too good to pass up, but I'm glad we got Burks he's a better shooter then I thought and over all a little better then Clay. I honestly didn't think Burks would be this good. The damn experts made him sound so one dimensional, not to mention Lockes stupid "to cool for school" analogy. I still don't know what that means, but it doesn't sound like a label you want attached to your name. Tonight though Thompson was my favorit player. Great win for GS.

Do you think min. fans have a Utah jazz watch thread rooting for us to win and make the playoffs;) their board was probably going crazy when we beat the Lakers and thunder.

It's funn to read the Ws' board on RealGM. They have a tank thread now expressing angst. That game was pretty big from their perspective.

Hadn't thought about it, but I'd be surprised if they didn't.

I don't imagine it's anything like what we've had the past three years (two unprotected picks that were on course for top-10, and a third protected pick that will likely land in the top-10 as well). I'm sure there's some talk of it, though.

On that note, it's weird to think that the Wolves are in the hunt for 0 to 2 lottery picks, though.

Was reading a warriors message board. One fan suggested they trade the 27th pick, Curry to keep tier pick this year, a future first and Favors or something close to that. Ahhhh funny stuff. Gotta love GS fans!

They wanted their pick AND Favors? What the holy **** of **** was that guy smoking?

GSW need to win probably four maybe five games out of their last twenty for them to be in ninth place unless other teams surge or flounder. Having looked at the schedules, SAC. is probably the greatest threat, so last night's victory was even sweeter. If they can get Biedrins and Robinson back (and particularly the hope for every Jazz fan Curry), we should get the pick. They have three very winnable games NJ, NO twice (all at home). As someone pointed out above these three games are critical since the rest of the schedule is quite difficult. Go GSW!

How do they get 2? I thought New Orleans owned their pick that was unprotected?

Watched most of the Warriors/Kings game.

Demarcus Cousins continues to be the biggest baby ever. He gets pissed at everything.

David Lee is one of the worst defenders I have seen since Boozer on the Jazz. Even worse actually.
