I am so over the Hayward leaving discussion. I wasn't surprised he left. I think as Hayward improved his ego got bigger. I don't think he was a guy who hung out with the guys once he got married. Now I am not saying this is bad, life changes especially after you get married. I believe the chemistry would not have been as good with him on the team. Don't have anything to back this up, just a gut feeling.

I would not boo him. Booing shows that you still care. I think it would bother him more if you just ignored him. Besides, I try to enjoy the things i have in life and not concentrate on what I don't have.

When I watch the Celtics, I always think some one is not going to be happy. Brown and Tatum have shown they can be all-stars in the future. I would love it if the Jazz could steal one of them away from Boston. I would laugh my butt off if they ended up trading Gordon to keep Brown and Tatum.
 
anybody else think haywards utah barber is better than his boston one?

I think it’d be appropriate to just cheer Crowder twice as loud. Show JC some appreciation and ignore GH.

Dunno, Kawhi is great and all, but kind of toxic right now. 'Twould be pretty messed up for Ainge to trade Hayward, but I wouldn't put it past him. Tatum is not better, yet, but he will be. I'd take him on the Jazz in half a heart beat.

Ainge traded KG, Paul Pierce, IT, Jae Crowder (on the day his mom died), his son's election campaign to sign Hayward... Ainge gives zero effs. He has prolly already talked to the Spurs about a deal.

Yep, I said as much before Hayward left. I laughed when Isaiah tried to get Gordon to join the Celtics, knowing it would cause him to be traded. It was obvious.

I still like Hayward, sad he left, but other than threads like this, or when I watch Boston games, I don't think about him.

Me too. Once Donovan started to take off, I didn't think about Gordo. Also enjoyed the play of Ingles as the starting SF. Have to say part of the fun was watching how genuinely excited the players were for each other. I wont be upset if everyone returns and DL decides to wait until the deadline or summer of 2019 to try to make a significant move.

I literally have almost no feeling for or against Hayward. I would just love the fans not to boo him. It would be such a great PR and strategic move to just treat him like the milquetoast star player he is. I'm gonna be so disappointed when the fans are rowdy and some news breaks that 2 of them crossed the line and Utah is so racist etc. I can feel the cringe even now.

An organized silence would be amazing... with the announcer messing up his name in intros... and crickets play over the loud speakers
 
This thread is full of snowflakes that obviously haven't really moved on. An organized silence shows you care enough to organize. Duh...
 
Going to laugh when Hayward is traded away from Boston.

Otherwise, I don't really care about him anymore. I hope he has a happy and productive life.
