Bit of a misnomer since like half their offensive rebounds came on one play.We lost ultimately because we got outrebounded by 20 boards. The combination of Ibaka, Siakam and Anunoby was too much size and athleticism for us to contend with inside.

My comment about letting the Stars centers play is valid. On the second night of a back to back, the Raptors outrebounded the Jazz 53 to 33. Gobert only had 4 rebounds in 32 minutes.
He failed just as badly as other Jazz players do when they try thee same 1-on-1 into a hard paint shot. It's selfish play that bears selfish play. The Jazz perimeter players have to do a better job at feeding Gobert when he's open. Too many missed opportunities or low % shots instead of passing.
Nah. Just look at Lowry and Ibaka. We had to defend the rim or let Ibaka or Lowry shoot a wide open 3. Well, that torched us. When Gobert sets a screen, the opponent only worries about the lob because Donovan and others are being told to always drive off the screen and look for that lob or settle for a floater (which we suck at).Yeah, you're a giant moron. Mitchell, and every other Jazz player, would be MUCH WORSE without Gobert's screening.
These refs deserve to be castrated. 3 straight Horrendous calls against the Jazz the middle of the 4th quarter to kill the momentum. Swallowing the whistle on Rudy's drive, only to call a foul on a similar play on the other end for Toronto. Then the coward double ejection when the Toronto player CLEARLY went high with his elbow first. Such coward horse **** officials. I get missing calls, but to replay that and find a reason to eject Rudy? that is just negligence and borderline fraudulent. **** the NBA and **** these officials

The refs cost us the game. I'm not blaming the refs, I'm pointing out the obvious. They gave Lowry half a dozen calls in this game while also calling everything against Rudy and Donovan. It was blatant. Ingles got hit on the 3 straight drives in the 4th with no call. These refs deserve to be castrated. 3 straight Horrendous calls against the Jazz the middle of the 4th quarter to kill the momentum. Damn! He's offensively limited by conventional standards? Bro crazy!Rudy can’t even catch the ball and when he does he can barely hold it. He’s severely limited offensively.
That Royce brick down the stretch really killed our momentum. 2 of 7 from 3, we needed a 4 of 7 effort.

He's still the single most impactful offensive player the Jazz have.
Are you high? For like 3 or 4 straight years now Rudy has been our biggest on/off for offensive rating.Lmao. It’s becoming close to the point to where people shouldn’t even reply to you anymore.
Donovan and Rudy don't work. A few times this game, Donovan gets wide open down the lane. Often, Rudy isn't quite there for the lob because Donovan is so far ahead but you can tell Donovan is still trying to set Rudy up. Donovan is trying so hard to get that ball to Rudy. I think that is taking away from Donovan because we are trying so hard to feed Rudy.
Just my 2 cents

Good post. I like Quin, but I think Kenny Atkinson is a brilliant coach. He maximizes talent.I think there's a whole lot of truth in that. I'm sorry but Gobert acts like a whiney bitch sometimes. Remember the flare-up early in the season because Rudy wasn't seeing the ball enough. A good defender like Ibaka just takes Rudy out of his game and his hands are suspect to begin with. But it's always the squeaky wheel gets the grease especially when you're the "superstar" and you have a coach that doesn't have the courage of his convictions.
Bring in Kenny Atkins, not afraid to ride the hot hand and sit a player when he needs to be sat. Best come from behind victory by anyone all season and he benched the starters and rode Caris LeVert and the subs to the win. He made that team what it is. He made Bogey what he is before he traded up to get a draft pick that turned into Jarrett Allen. But whiney bitch Kyrie Irving who Atkins had been pushing told Marks give me a Superstar coach or I'm taking the option. The Nets played this pamper the superstars game once before and lost. Let's not be the Nets.
You broke cardinal rule in betting. Never bet on your favorite team. Never do that again!Pray for me
dear god
Especially when your team is as roller coaster as the jazz have been this season. You broke cardinal rule in betting. Never bet on your favorite team. Never do that again!
Wow, obviously I couldn't agree more. Goin against the grain in this conservative hotbed town maybe, but this forum is the best as far as having independent thinkers. Honestly, some of the most intelligent posters I've seen in any forum. Dons flame retardant suit - probably still get flamed lol.Good post.
