I Need Some Help Choosing an MLB Team

You can just shush. Sometimes you choose a team, and sometimes they choose you.
I found a freaking Yankees baseball cap on a playground in central California when I was 7. As people mocked me it just made me cling to the Yankees harder.
In other words, you can just suck my big fat **** you mother ****ing son of a *****. Quit being a ****ing ********.
I can see that Yankee culture got deep into you. Prolly via butthole.

I can see the anti-Yankee culture got deep into you. Prolly via spit roasting.
Nah, I’ve always hated the assumed superiority of New York as some kind of inspiring cultural center. I was young when I realized that New York was way passed those days, having traded it for runaway Real Estate speculation and the culture of High Finance. I hated how the Yankees and Steinbrenner embodied all of that. And it was thrilling to see them suffer many embarrassing losses in the early 00s... right before I stopped caring about baseball.

I don’t blame you on your perceptions of NYC. It’s not anywhere near my favorite city to be in - in many ways, I don’t enjoy it. Ironically, one of my most favorite cities to hang out in is Boston.
But like I said...sometimes you don’t have a choice.
And sounds like you don’t have a horse in the game anyway, so you’re kind of the equivalent of Log in this thread - someone who doesn’t care enough, and is basically playing the role of a troll.
So.... ya.

Fair enough. And I get the concept of “not choosing” because that’s precisely why I can’t shake off my interest in the Utah Jazz.

But I sorta do have a horse in this race. It’s named Stop Watching Sports.

Including the Jazz?

Yup. Wish I could. There are so many better/more interesting things to immerse oneself in. I’m an addict, though. But I think I know a few different scenarios where I might be able to break free, and I’m saving my energy for when one of them transpires. Haha fml

It’s a long and sad story in my life right now, but it has been a perfect storm for watching more NBA, not less.

Jeebus Log, put a sock in it. We get it that you don’t like baseball. You’ve made that perfectly clear. Feel free to ignore (and not post in) threads that have to do with baseball. There are enough trolls on this board without you deteriorating into one as it relates to baseball.
Feel free to ignore my posts about disliking baseball. I'm not trolling anyone, consider it an intervention to help people get away from the terrible "sport".

As far as the original question... since you won’t choose the Yankees (sad face), why not go with the Angels?
Class organization, best player in baseball in Mike Trout, Shohei Otahni is going to be great over the years... could be fun to watch. And not that far from you as well.
And a Perennial loser

....Says the dude who found a used, dirty, lice-ridden hat, then put it on his own damn head and proceeded to feel archaic tribal loyalties.
Dude... you expressing an interest in getting people to stop watching sports, yet consistently watching the Jazz, is a greater exhibition of cognitive dissonance that I have ever exhibited.
