What's new

jazz mentioned as possible trade partner for ak

We're in the middle of a youth movement and I don't see them doing anything to disrupt that. I think bringing AK back does, therefore I hope it doesn't happen.

You're fooling yourselves if you think we can stick AK at the 4. Almost all stretch 4s will exploit him and literally toss him around in the paint. If traded here, I'd doubt he'd see many minutes. I'll pass- I like Jeremy Evan too much

I don't think you understand what a stretch 4 is.

AK was injury plagued when he was on the Jazz now he's 45 and were discussing bringing him back. This team has flaws I don't think bringing over an avid novel reader will fix our defensive issues or offensive issues.

Stretch 4's today tend to smaller, more mobile players that the AK of old would've been able to handle. Don't know how he'd fare now; not sure if he still has anything left.

With the Sixers in the discussion, how can we make a 3 way trade for AK and KJ McDaniels?

AK is better (if/when healthy) than Ingles. Sorry people who love Ingles.

WAS better. Look at his outside shooting the past 5 years. With the exception of '10/'11, his 3PT percentage has been mediocre. What would he bring to the team: he hasn't been able to defend a cardboard cutout for years. His blocking abilities left him about 8 years ago as injuries and then age took away a step or two. So he's brought in to show the rookies his great attitude and amazing work ethic?

I have an idea: he becomes Utah's RIF (Reading Is Fundamental) advocate and ambassador to the U.S. Consulate in San Francisco. With the rising number of international players, Jazz could use a representative to help them with any visa problems. Maybe he can even help players avoid taking practice days off during any future playoffs in order to arrange their vacations.
