Jazz waive Kevin Knox II

Waived: Derrick Rose, who goes on to drop 40 points on us.
Russell Westbrook, who is a 6thish man on a contender.
Knox, who was never in their league ( former MVPs). Still I notice that we seem to be waiving folks who go on to stay in the league. Why is this our MO?

Westbrook is different. We gave him a choice. He would have played with us if we demanded, but we told him that if he wants to go to a contending team we will buy him out.

That was 100% PR work.
 
Not that I expected anything at all from the new acquisitions, but of the three, I thought Knox was probably the one most worth keeping around to see if there's anything there.

Quite the opposite. He's had a **** ton of opportunities already. No need to see more. He blows
