Jazz watching film together

I think sometimes that Sloan just did not understand the tiny nuances that turn a bunch of guys playing ball together into a "team".

Exactly. Sloan was more worried about making a point then he was preparing the team to ****ing win.

over at Deron's house, right?

Yuss, and Ronnie Brewer makes everyone their own pillow fort. Raja Bell does the hors d'oeuvres and the white wine spritzers.

This is ********! Jarron Collins brings the v-neck sweaters, the classical music, the hors d'oeuvres AND the bitches... Bell's at home, crying over a quart of Häagen-Dazs, while watching Lifetime movie re-runs.

Handlogden and Keefe are somewhere, looking up at the stars, singing "Somewhere out there" together...

This. Jackson and Popovich watch film with their teams all the time. They should have been doing this years ago. Players today just aren't motivated enough to do it on their own, like Sloan, Stockton and Malone and Horny would.

it's also not just watching film of their own games, but film of what other teams are doing - how they're guarding, switching, fighting thru screens etc etc etc - and watching it with someone to point out what needs to be pointed out, not just with each other but with a coach who should have more interest in the team as a whole than any one particular player - it really has to come from a coach and not a fellow team mate (not necessarily the head coach but someone on the coaching staff)

and so much depends on the quality of the film that is put together too, some of you make it sound like it's just a matter of watching a replay of the last game
