What's new

Jazz @ Wizards, 2/26, 3pm MT (5pm ET for me)...

We didn't "kick ***". We had some good stretches, but we had some awful ones as well. Inability to hold big leads has cost us several Ws this season, this could easily have gone the other way when they had the momentum with 2 minutes left.

But it didn't and we won by 10. Great victory.

“It’s frustrating, though,” Wall said. “You keep attacking the basket. No-name guys getting calls on the other end that’s getting little contact. We drive to the basket and get contact the whole game, then you try to make up for those calls the last two minutes of the game. It gets frustrating. But, I have to do a better job as a leader of this team to hold my emotions in check.”

Favors has been playing like a man possessed since the break, so glad we didn't make any hasty moves at the deadline. So many factors to consider with his injury woes and our payroll constraints as we try to resign Hill and Hayward. Still I hope we find a way to keep him long term as nobody else on our roster can do the things he can. Which is why it hurts us so badly when he's out for extended periods of time.

PS Wish somebody could turn him on to Kombucha Tea (Synergy etc.) great for joint pain.

Love the way Snyder is using Gobert and Favors lately. Start them together and go all Wasatch Front on teams and then have Favors play some 5 and stagger them the rest of the game. Having JJ makes that small ball concept actually work. Absolutely love the lineup of Gobert, JJ, Hayward, Jingles and Hill. Solid on offense and defense. I think this is how the Jazz can best use their exceptional depth. Hope it means less Diaw in the playoffs. Need more from Hood and Burks though.

John Wall is not happy today

Tough *******. The Jazz abused them inside and on the glass. Wall and Beal made a ****-ton of contested shots too. Utah played great defense. Too bad that they let them get back into the game in the 3rd quarter. Should have ripped their hearts out and gone up by 30 instead of letting them cut that 24 point lead in half. Jazz were rolling, and then they subbed Exum then Diaw into the game and watched that lead evaporate.
