don't the lakers need a pg. offer kanter and Burke.

Can Randle actually make his mid-range jumpshot consistent?
Can he develop a right hand?
Has to do those 2 things and he could be an All-Star. I still think he is a super easy player to guard for most NBA starters. He will expose mismatches well though because he can abuse SF's masquerading as PF's and he can take slow big men off the dribble who aren't smart defensively (Kanter types).
Randle will become an All Star one way. All that #HUNGER will take him a long way. Book it.
Lamarcus Aldridge
Blake Griffin
Anthony Davis
Those dudes have more talent and play in the same conference and at the same position and I don't see any of those 3 leaving the West anytime soon.

i saw the lakers game. this kid is 19 and he can physically bang with anybody already. reggie evans may suck, but he is a big boy. randle pushed him around.
this kid is a man child. no he isn't tall. no he doesn't have crazy reach. but this boy has that insane core strength. he is one of those who has that farm boy strength. randle was among the big 3 along with jabari and wiggins and he fell off. but i think this kid belongs in that group. randle will be a dominant player. he's gonna be a bully in this league.

Lotta hyperbole going on in this thread.

0-1 from 3 for the preseason.
31-59 from the field-- 52.5%
8-16 from the free throw line-- 50%
5.75 rpg in 21 mpg is pretty good.
3.475 fouls per game is poor in limited time.
I just don't see it yet.
I would not trade Burke and Kanter for Randle.
I was always pretty neutral on Burke, but his leadership is definitely a huge plus to the team. He has a clear positive effect on the offense just being on the court, even if he isn't statistically playing well. I don't think his stats will ever climb that high either, so I don't think his market value will ever exceed a ridiculous number like Hayward's did and Burks' probably will.
