Kanter is ripped

Remember, talk was after rookie season. Not after two seasons. I said "jury is still out" before last season started. At that time there were numerous players who had better stats during rookie season then Hayward. If we would have same discussion now after two seasons situation would be different.
Those same players I cited that were picked after? Now you've gone from bad to worse. George was clearly a BUST after his rookie season (look at his horrible rookie %'s). And Hayward had THE BEST 3-PT % IN THE ENTIRE LEAGUE AFTER THE ALL-STAR BREAK. Yes, that's right. After season #1, particularly the last half, including the game he completely schooled Kobe, Gordon looked like an all-pro. It was only AFTER he slumped the first part of this past year that some started questioning the pick again.

Wasn't it said at some point in the summer league that Kanter had gained weight eating a whole bunch of Turkish food? If so, has he been losing weight while doing these workouts? Anybody have any weight differentials from then to now?

Those reports were total bs.. No link.

I never said he'll come in more athletic .. I simply said the slacking/gaining weight thing was completely untrue .. He's worked his arseness off non-stop.

Kanter himself said he gained weight during summer:

"Kanter also blew a wide-open fast-break dunk, was blocked on an inside slam attempt, and acknowledged after the game he put on about 20 pounds in two weeks after the 2011-12 season ended, during a getaway vacation to Turkey."

"In America, I only eat American food," Kanter said. "I was there and my mom cooked, so I just ate my Turkish food. But now I’m trying to lose weight; I’m trying to get in shape. I know I’ll be so much better when I keep playing."
