People need to become unburdened by what has been. . .His passing (getting better) decision making and turnovers all need a lot of work on offense.

Good thought. I have noticed that it seems like keyonte assists have increased playing with Collier.
Maybe it was sexton holding him back
I think his decission making is pretty good for a 2nd year guy. Sexton and Clarkson dribble into trouble much more than Key, and he isnt really taking Svi-type shots either unless clock forces them. His passing (getting better) decision making and turnovers all need a lot of work on offense.
If Clarkson is your litmus test then yes, I agree.I think his decission making is pretty good for a 2nd year guy. Sexton and Clarkson dribble into trouble much more than Key, and he isnt really taking Svi-type shots either unless clock forces them.
He misses some open guys but when he sees them he passes. Throws a lot of successful lobs as well, and not a lot of bad ones.
His defense is better just simply based on the fact that his body language has improved tremendously from last year and he sulks down the floor after mistakes 80% less often from last year.Everything counts, of course, but if you believe Key is the player he's been for the majority of season he's made significant progress on offense. He had a really rough start but has been so much better on offense since then. Defensively, I think he's basically just as bad as before and maybe even worse this year. His defensive habits are truly awful.
Not sure how you can think his defense is worse this year. Not that I’m defending his defense or anything but it’s definitely improvedEverything counts, of course, but if you believe Key is the player he's been for the majority of season he's made significant progress on offense. You seem to be misunderstand or just arent aware. Many plays last year Keyonte would make a mistake and sulk, and not get down the court. He does that far less often and yes, that is being better on defense. Its got nothing to do with having a "locked in" face.Meh….he’s making so many awful mistakes regardless of his body language. Whether he’s willing or doing his best “locked in” face ala Sexton his defensive instincts are dreadful.
