Kings Trade Cousins to the Pelicans

Improve their franchise? This is them throwing in the towel.. They've got a multi-year tank planned thats whats gonna improve the franchise... will probably wait around for Bagley and Scottie Lewis..

Jumpstarting the youthmovement is what this is.

Hopefully Skal can get some minutes.

Rumours are they could have traded him last year for D'Angello Russell and the pick that led to Brandon Ingram.

Kings lost all that for 6 more months of Cousins on the roster.

The Lakers shot down a Cousins deal including Ingram apparently..

If they can lose a lot of games, it has to be in the top 10 for them to keep it. Wouldn't be surprised if that is a struggle. Wouldn't be surprised if they are a more consistent team without him.

They could do what GSW did to land Barnes... get a lead into the 4th, then rest all their starters in the final 8 minutes.

Works every-single-time.

You're crazy. Casspi's a decent 3'n'd player too the Kings are about to play possum..

Can confirm Kings-Pelicans deal: DeMarcus Cousins to NO for Buddy Hield, Tyreke Evans, Langston Galloway & a 2017 first and 2nd (Philly's)

Koufos is finally gonna get the shine he deserves.

Langston Galloway will be solid for the Kings.

For some reason I have a vision of Sacramento getting Dennis Smith Jr in the draft..

Funny they get swapped not long after;

Apparently Galloway is expected to be waived by the Kings.
