If the Jazz have their choice between Irving and Knight, this will be great because we'll be able to rekindle the Williams/Paul debate, but change the names.

I heard on the radio or the combine that he is a lot closer to 5 ft 8 than 6 ft. I guess we will see when the measurements come out though.

I don't know what you were listening to, but I assure you it wasn't the combine or anybody with any basketball knowledge whatsoever. He's 6'1" in shoes. Same size as John Stockton, slightly taller than Chris Paul, who he as been compared to as a "poor man's" several times.

I love me some Brandon Knight, but Irving is a no-brainer here.

Irving. I think Knight might have more potential, but I think Irving's potential isn't much lower and has a better chance of realizing it.

Another knock on Irving is this. His body fat % is pretty high for a guy trying to get the #1 pick. And don't tell me it is because of his injury. He has been playing basketball for 2 months now, why isn't he in better shape? Has he reached the pinnacle and no longer needs to work? If Kantor can have 7% body fat, why is Irving's 10+? I'm not saying I like Knight over Irving, but I am saying Irving might not be the clear cut player everyone says he is.

I am obviously on the opposite side of this but I think neither will be great but Knight will be better. Knight plays better defense. Knight has incredible work ethic and is very smart good kid. He went to all his classes and got a 4.0. He is a bit of a project but I think he will be an all star player a few times in his career. I also think he is a better shooter than Irving. He is not great at seeing the floor yet but his assists were not awful when you compare him to other freshman pgs. He will learn to pass more especially when he has veterans around him not a bunch of freshman that leaned on him most games.
