What do you feel/think (for those of you who don’t feel just think) is the worst and most boring/ painful sport to watch. Please vote, then post a short summary of what it is that makes it so awful.

Mine is baseball, I not only hate and think it is boring to watch I hate to play it. I think it is the driest and must dull of all official sports. I’d rather watch tennis or golf, and I would rather play tennis or golf. I honestly can’t think of a sport I dread more then to have to sit through a baseball game.

I love baseball.

For me, tennis or NASCAR is pure torture. FTR, NASCAR is substantially easier to watch if they're on a road course. It still sucks, tho.

Proof that American education has gone down the toilet.

For me personally, I don't find any sports boring to play or watch in person, but I find baseball and soccer brutal to watch on TV.

Totally agree on baseball sucks. Watching it on TV in the news made me always think, that the only reason people go there is that their wifes suck at cooking, so they get some hot dogs and whatever for their even fatter kids and themselves.

Thought everyone was gonna say golf and I'd be forced to neg train.

I kind of like every major sport I think.

If UFC counts as a sport, then **** that noise. Couldn't care less which goon half murders the other goon, therefore boring to watch.

Thats why I didnt put UFC.... I have the same opinion of it.

I think soccer, baseball, nascar, and golf all suck to watch on tv.... but are all fun to watch live.

I was a big fan of the ufc but now I am a much more casual fan.... still like it though.

Kinda surprised that ugli didn't say "anything byu is participating in" lol

It was really hard to decide between golf and baseball. I went with baseball. It's one of those things that if you're not familiar with it you're not going to get a lot out of watching it on TV. You've got to have an appreciation for it coming in. I don't so it's sort of like watching the ball fly into the stands is the most exciting part, and it's not very exciting at that, and it only happens a couple times a game if you're lucky.

Same with golf. I've never played. I have no appreciation for the difficulty of what they are doing. Makes it hard to sit around watching them stare at the ground and then stare at their clubs and then talk to a guy about the ground and their clubs and then tap a ball with one of the clubs. I mean, if you don't have a foundation upon which to appreciate what's going on it's really hard to appreciate what's going on. Know what I mean?

Now women's tennis...who can't appreciate that? I've never played tennis but it's pretty enjoyable to watch women play tennis. Got to have the volume turned up to really appreciate it.

I like watching tennis..... and the women are more enjoyable to watch than the men not just for the obvious reasons (T n A), but because there is a lot more action/backand forth in the women's game.
The men have too much power and therefore there are a lot of serves that can't even be returned.

I also like women's soccer better for the hot chicks and the style of play.... it seems like the women are less patient with thier attack and less precise with thier passing which results in the women just trying to score quickly more often

I agree. I love watching golf, but it's also cuz I love playing it.

I don't get all the hate for baseball doe.

I don't watch much regular season, but MLB playoffs are as good as it gets.

I actually tuned in to watch the Women Soccer Euro Championships finals last month. I was surprised how good they had become. Last time I had watched a full game like 4 years ago it was totally unbearable. They still can't do advanced moves, but they can pass at least and run. Had kinda fun plus I recognized that the MVP of Germany went to elementary school with me. So I'd totally watch it again I guess if I'm bored.
There's a mean saying about female soccer in Germany:
Women Soccer is like horse racing....with donkeys!

I picked golf. Like gameface said, I've never really played it. I took some lessons when I was young, but I don't know the difference between a 9 iron and a 3 wood.
Baseball is boring to watch on TV, but fun as hell in person, especially when you can focus on it and keep score and stuff like that. But then again, I grew up playing baseball.

Any kind of racing. Just not fun to watch.

Not a fan of tennis, but every now and then someone does a badass shot and it's cool.

Golf is pretty fun to watch the final round.

Baseball and Hockey are fun to watch in the post-season.

Women's Volleyball is the best sport to watch. Thighs on thighs on thighs.

Pretty much every sport has it's merits besides automotive racing. It;s just boring as ****.

Also don't know why you listed dodgeball. Ive never even seen that be televised.

How the **** is basketball a choice on a board that's devoted to a ****ing professional basketball team, yet soccer (I happen to like it, but it's a rather obvious choice) and NASCAR (the one I would pick...well any motor 'sport' really...if they are sports) are left off.

Golf, Baseball --> I don't understand.

Hockey --> I can't even see what they are going after.

Tennis --> I fall in love with it while watching the Isner–Mahut match. It offers just so many rivalries.

Women's Volleyball --> I watch it because our women teams are among the bests in the world.

Soccer --> It's hands down the most fun game to play. Watching is another debate.

Racing ---> F1 is meh and it maybe the Queen of the racing but WRC is the King of it. And WRC is actually really exciting and fun to watch. It's just amazing, total badass.

NASCAR --> It doesn't even look like racing, not even close, so I didn't include it in the racing. I hate it.
