Pretty sure that's not Shanghai.

Could it be the bus at Fish Springs/hot tub springs near the point of the mountain on the salt flats, Tooele County? I don't go past there very often, since they oiled some other roads across the West Desert. This would be on the Lincoln Highway, the old Pony Express route my gg GF rode.
 
I'm only down about 6000 from making it on the list of contributors in the postcount race. Peeks has lost his #1, by 20K, too.

Maybe I should try to run my numbers up again.
 
hmmm..... my join day was Pearl Harbor day, almost ten years ago. I came here because of Pearl...... no, not "The Pearl", but Pearl Watson/Dr. Watson/mamby-pamby Jazzfan. I talked to here this past week. She remarried in May. She might soon come back to fire spitwads at libs.

The death rate from Covid is dropping off amazingly. Because, of course, the antibody test gives about 20% false positives, and some local lib wonks are passing out + results for free. Means big bucks for hospitals. And, I think the true positive rate for the antibody, which has a negative correlation to being in need of care, is as high as 20% now.

Given multiple effective treatments in use, and infection stats approaching herd immunity, I think we as a nation should be "Singing in the Rain."

Well, if I go back through this thread and re-respond to important comments, I think I could squeeze about 2K new contributions to my count.

Truth advertising almost always is accidental, as in the case of the wife's various detergents with added colors, flavors, smells, and snake oil. I'd just leave this argument alone though, if anyone were listening to me......
 
I should probably only do this when the house is empty and no one is around. Really, it's as bad as drinking alone....... not that Ineed alcohol to do that......

This is a very old and much used derivative of quinine.

quinones are something different, but have effects on virus replication. I think they are used in old photography developers as well, for their oxidative powers.
