And look if you aren’t motivated through the giant playbook and basketball maths then how will you ever get motivated. No, I don’t believe this is the case. I’ve heard, reliably, that this is on the players. Getting rebounds, making shots, executing — it’s all on the players. You can’t pin this on the coach if the players aren’t performing. The coach has an important role; an integral one. A good coach can bring you great success. But the failures are the players. Quin isn’t blowing the defensive assignments out there.
And suggesting a coach isn’t getting through to his players? Nonsense. Quin’s players would run through walls for him, so I hear. They just can’t stay focused or play hard for him, but they’d run through walls for him, to be sure. A good father would die for his children. He may not be there at their sporting events, to help them with their homework, or in any time of need when his presence is required, but he would certainly die for them. It’s the hypotheticals that count, you see, and and not the every day mundane things like making breakfast. Making breakfast is pablum to the legend who would proclaim dying for their child. As long as players will metaphorically “run through walls” for their coach, it doesn’t matter what they won’t do on menial daily tasks like staying focused or playing defense.
Walls, guys. Walls.
GS give up on him for almost nothing and now I can imagine why lol. Zero reb and he can't shoot and in combo with royce and Rudy who's not getting ball you end wit DM choking. When all be available I woud like to see huan or House instead of royce. But this is not gonna happen i guess...He started Paschall who hadn’t seen a minute since the Clipper game, and froze out Hernangomez. That’s not the kind of adjustment you make so randomly, particularly against a team of the Celt’s caliber.
And for the record, Paschall didn’t have a single rebound, block or steal in almost 25 minutes of play. I admit to missing the game but from the looks of the Celtic wing’s percentages, it doesn’t appear that he disrupted anything on the defensive end.
But more than that it’s a comfort zone thing and I believe contributed to our shooting woes and turnovers.
Hard to rebound when the other team doesn't miss shotsGobert the last two games has been non-existent. Not sure what’s going on with him but he needs to wake the **** up.
12.5 PPG, 7.5 RPG and 0 BPG is terrible in 30.5 MPG. We need more from him and it’s not a coincidence we lost the last two games either.
It's not always easy to find you Rudy when you can only do something with the ball within 2 feet of the basket.
So damn true.
So damn true.
Just to be clear, my comment wasn’t meant as an indictment of Paschall. He’s got value and should get some reserve minutes imo. But to go from not playing at all to starting on the road against maybe the hottest team in the league while sitting on the guy that had been in that role and had performed well enough to help the team prevail against playoff vying teams and stay in a game against a juggernaut “dream team”, that’s a different thing altogether. Why would you want to change something that had been working for you? And, more importantly, why would you want to remove the glue guy from the starting lineup and replace him with the guy that had been benched for not playing within the system? That, in and of itself, is a recipe for disaster imo.GS give up on him for almost nothing and now I can imagine why lol. You are probably right but man ppl here glorified bench guys like ... And then when they got apertunity to show something they suck.We can pray for everyone be healthy for PO and than we can measure whose bring something on the table and who can't pull hes own weightJust to be clear, my comment wasn’t meant as an indictment of Paschall.
