This is what I believe. A small amount over the tax is not the end of the world. Still would be under very narrow circumstances, which is what I expect as a fan.

Agreed. Also, as a fan, i dont want them to go over the tax unless we are contending for a title.

If true, they should sell the team. This philosophy has done a lot of good for fans of the team that that miserly **** Clay Bennett owns.
