At least Conley gave us a window. Remember last year? Crowder and Allen are decent but very limited players. Maybe we overpaid by adding an extra 1st for Conley, but what really blows is missing on Bane and wasting picks and money on Dok, Favors and others.

Conley's contract wasn't the problem, again, it were moves around the edges: Bane, Dok, using the full MLE on Favors (which cost us a 1st that we could have used for wing help this season), Gay, the numerous 2nds used to dump bad contracts, giving player options like candy, etc. Those cost DL his job.
