What's new

Netflix recs?

Seasons 2 and 3 just didn't progress the show any further.

I get trying to come to a sensible resolution, but it was a yawn fest right til the end.

No great twists unlike season 1.

They could have done much more with it imo.
This. Should have stopped after 1 season. The acting was SO bad too.

Been meaning to start that as well.. just have ti finish YOU first.
Ya, untamed is also on my list. Its low on my priority of shows to watch though so might be a while before I get there.

Started Untamed on Netflix. An Eric Bana procedural. It’s decent so far. He’s had an interesting career. A comic background from Australia iirc. Very handsome man. Fit. Burst onto the scene with Chopper which is phenomenal. He’s absolutely great in Munich. Shockingly amazing really. And he shows his comedic chops in Funny People which I think is very underrated. But I’m not sure he’s done much else that mainstream in theaters that’s worth discussing. He did that weird horror/exorcism flick about five years ago. The Jane Doe series on Netflix or whatever it was called. A couple mediocre Aussie investigative flicks. But I can’t think of anything else very good he’s done which is odd in 25 years for a guy with some obvious talent, albeit perhaps limited.

He's a real nice bloke people in the Melbourne comedy scene used to speak of him with genuine affection, he was just cracking it overseas when I started meeting, working and socialising with a lot of successful Aussie comics, funnily enough people used to say that I reminded them of him. I've never saw a resemblance. I've never met Eric but funnily enough I met Chopper and even had a couple of dart with him before he died. He absolutely loves motorsports, his film Love the Beast is great, he comes across as a genuine decent bloke,. If you get a chance check out Romulus, My Father he's excellent in that.

This is worth a watch.
