next head coach of the Utah Jazz _____________?

I love the Fred Hoiberg idea. In fact he was my #2 behind Brad Stevens.

Ya, I wasn't even thinking about Jeff.

Just adding to the list

I am not a huge fan but I could see Scott Skiles in the running also.

Lionel Hollins maybe but he attacked management publicly and no team likes that. That is why he doesn't have a job right now.

George Karl - I think we will go with someone younger and long term.

Jeff Van Gundy - I like him a lot on defense. On offense I am not a fan. I think he likes his non stressful job now though.

SVG - I have no idea why so many fans like him. He ran the exact same offense we have when he was in Orlando. And young players don't need the "Master of panic" as Shaq called him.

Patrick Ewing - Probably not I don't think anyone takes him seriously

Maurice Cheeks - Decent job when he had good teams. Had taken some bad jobs that nobody could of succeeded at.

Vinny Del Negro - I worry about his guy because of his connections with the Spurs. I think he has done horrible.

Avery Johnson - I think he is underrated. I like guys who focus on defense and he would understand how to utilize our "Twin Towers" ;) since he played with them.

Steve Kerr - I think he is underrated and his connections with the Spurs and Phil Jackson are great. I like him a lot.

Free Agent players usually don't like coming to Utah. But we are a coaches wet dream because any "free agent" coach knows they will get plenty of time to prove themselves.

SA connection to Dennis Lindsey. Relative of Jerry Sloan.
Has been extremely successful with two different D-League franchises.
He is the reason DL didn't care about an inexperienced Hornacek going to Phoenix.
I'll honestly be SHOCKED if he ISN'T named the next HC of the Jazz.

So ironic my college teams coach is 1000000x better than my favorite pro teams coach.

sorry but who is that.

Brad Jones.

He is the one tutoring Trey Burke, you see them constantly talking. Watching the games Brad is the one calling out to Corbin all the time. I always assumed it was clock and game managment info. But maybe Jones was just telling Corbin to hurry up and quit already.

Ty I haven't watched any jazz games.

Sidney Lowe...bwhahahahaha, I tried to do it with a straight face, but I just couldn't stop laughing.

Not really, being a college coach is way easier than being a pro coach.

This is correct, but the simplicity of the job has nothing to do with the overall skill level of the coach. And Hoiberg's coaching skills > Ty Corbin's, by a lot.

also one of the biggest keys for me is if a coach can get more out of players. hoiberg has done wonders with average talented teams. I like his motion offense. they take a lot of 3 but set their shooters up. I think hoiberg would come to Utah. they push the offense to score off transition. honestly look what he got out of Royce white.

I think Minny is going to really push for him, and if he doesn't go to the Wolves he'll be staying at ISU.
