as the season progresses it seems more likely LM does not resign an extension so should we trade him and cash in our chips ?

That would be best for all parties.
Jazz is not going anywhere with this current roster next 3 yrs at least.

Lauri does not fit Jazz timeline so better let him go somewhere-else like OKC etc playoff team.
Ainge should announce during the December Jazz is taking trade offers of Lauri better cash in Lauri's trade value than let him leave for free 2025.
