Well, we were told there was a "10 year championship plan" and I think the majority of the community that heard that feels like we were lied to so far. That was almost 5 years ago. What REALLY feels like what's going on is there is absolute 0 direction on what they're really doing. Maybe the management, FO, and/or Ryan are pulling in different directions? Our draft picks outside of Keyonte, Ace, and maybe Flip aren't going anywhere. We're playing vets over letting our young players play and learn over their mistakes. I don't care if we're losing by 60. Everyone thought Svi was like a 13-15 dude at the beginning of the season and we started him day 1. You might argue the young players aren't ready and then I'd say, send them all to the Stars then (I guess we JUST started to do that) but we're almost a quarter of the season over now. If we miss the playoffs AND lose our pick this year, it will go down as the worst year of Utah Jazz basketball ever and there should be accountability somewhere in the FO for it.Seems like there's very limited interest in the Jazz from the community.
This community, the Jazz subreddit, etc., are all so disengaged. Kind of sad.
I think it's important for Ainge or SOMEONE to lay out the 3-5 year vision. Because this is just rough...
The unfortunate reality is we need to out-stink the worst teams head-to-head if we want to keep the pick at this point because we need the power of the twofer (or BOGO as HH would say).I wish Key was sick before the SAC game instead of this one.
