Official Trey Burke Rising Stars Game Thread

Early Yao v. Shaq was the best head-to-head matchup of the '00's to me. Shaq kicked his *** the first few times, then Yao had an offseason of development, came back, and played him pretty evenly or even better after that. Loved watching those games. Bloody shame that dude couldn't get at least 5 more good years out of his body.

word. yao was so skilled. he made a mockery out of dwight many times. and yao was the only center in 00's who could play against shaq toe to toe. yao's unique body type really helped him and also hurt him. even though he was 7ft 6 he had such a short arms (7ft 5 wing span) and such a delicate 'asian' hands. you can't teach that soft touch. lol and even though he was skinny in his upper body, he also had tree trunk of legs. another asian thing. you couldn't push yao around like how you could push around bradley.

i firmly believe yao was the greatest skilled big man since hakeem. and most centers in this era would say yao was the toughest to guard. there was not a move he couldn't do. hell, he could even pull a dream shake once in a while.

my favorite pic of yao. lol dude is ginormous.
