I get the hesitation if you want to factor in the uncertainty on Rudy, but it is hard for me to understand how we can regard this is a poor/meh offseason when we
- Switched Bradley out for Favors
- Switched Mudiay out for Harrison
- Switched Davis out for Azubuike
- Switched Tucker out for Hughes
- Switched JWF out for Forrest
- (last 3 are unclear contributors, but can't be a downgrade, at least)
- Retained everything good we had (again pending Rudy), with some legitimate hopes for improvement from esp. 2nd-year players
- Clearly upgraded defense personnel with (likely) little negative impact on offense
- Gave Quin a fuller toolbox
