pacers and jazz are similar in terms of talent level
george is good but so is hayward
 
You guys do recall Hayward putting up 21 points a few days ago. News flash George hasn't had this great year you are making it out to be. His numbers are similar to Haywards numbers, and he's been in a slump.
 
I'm far more worried about the meaning than the spelling of the word. George's numbers are ridiculously superior to Gordo's this season.
 
Paul George is really good.

Some of the Hayward lovers always seem to get their panties in a twist anytime others don't call their boy "The Chosen One."

In reality, Hayward's an ok player... Paul George is turning into a really good player and will probably be an all-star. He's exactly what we need right now.

Obviously you haven't compared stats. To say George's stats are superior to Gordon is ridiculous. The only stat that is superior is the fg%, and as I said earlier Hayward is slump with his shot.

Gordon Hayward 26.9 .380 .737 3.2 3.3 0.7 0.7 1.6 8.9
Paul George. 30.9. .457. .857 5.4. 2.0. 1.2. 0.6. 1.9. 11.6

As you can see from the #'s neither player is exactly tearing it up on the court. The only stat where George is far superior is shooting. If you move Haywards fg% to 40% he is scoring as many points as George, and Haywards shooting #'s will come up at some point.

That is my definition of similar.

people keep saying that George is balling, he's not doing anything special this year, and Hayward is doing just a little less coming out in a slump, and playing less minutes.

For the record I did say before the year started that Hayward would start slow.

Uh...George's stats are superior. Shooting better across the board (.596 v. .483 TS%), scoring more (while hardly taking more shots), grabbing more boards and steals. Hayward has a decent edge in assists..and...a slight edge in personal fouls.
 
I'd be better at basketball than I am currently if I could just put the ball in the basket more often.
 
George is playing better than Honzward this season, no doubt, but I still think Gordy's got a lot more in him than we have seen this season.
 
How can anyone say that Gordo's stats are similar to George's?

Gordo: 8.9 ppg/38%FG/74%FT/27%3P
George: 11.6 ppg/46%FG/86%FT/46%3P

They are miles apart so far this year. I'm not worried about Gordon as he'll be fine and turn into a very nice player for us, but it's looking more and more likely we missed out on a definite all-star.

wow Verlin, u forget to take your pills? don't be jealous that George is a future all-star, his 3 points shooting is exactly what our Jazz need
