I have no idea what that is, but I like it already.

I know probably about 10 LDS folk that claim they 'live right' about 90% of the time .. but when they get 50 miles from home, there's a different set of rules.

I have several friends in SLC that come to STG for mini-vacations because they're jonesin' for cool frosty brew.

Why would you want to? If you truly believe something is the truth then why marry someone, and hope to covert them?

The question that needs to take it a step further is would you marry someone knowing they would never convert.
I would assume that a lot people of strong faith think they can convince the other person to join them. Otherwise why risk being
with someone that doesn't believe in what is most important to you? Seems like a deal breaker.

Marriage is already an intense articulation of desires and dreams. Why the **** would you want to make conversion a part of this? I honestly cannot imagine it. Sounds like Russian roulette

I can assure you it doesn't matter. While you're at church, you're little lady can just be ironing your next Sunday's clothes, doing some dishes, whipping up some lunch .. all in her assless lingerie. See? It works just fine.

Sounds like the MO of every shady character the world over. That's basically what was admitted that the majority of the secret service felt like in that whole prostitution scandal recently. Out of sight, out of mind. The whole foreign services is known as one big cheater's ball really, especially when the spouse is back at a job in the states.

I would actually relish the idea of raising my kids in a duel-religion house. What better way to teach your kids tolerance, choice, and spiritualness? (not a word)

^ in other words, the historically informed hermeneutics of these "leavers" and the idea that religion is, at its root, personal choice are mainstream Christian trends changing Mormonism.
