Harden played 7 minutes less than Mitchell yet shot more FT. Also, Mitchell shot 2 free throws in cleanup time at the very end. Some NBA fans are just the worst.

We got a lot of fouls in the first half but they were legit... if PJ Tucker were to play as physical with Harden as he did against our guys he’d foul out in 5 minutes.

They also have to realize we back off and play with our hands in our pocket against Harden to avoid fouling... guys look like the police came out and said “put yo hands where I can see em”.

Rockets and they fans are the worst. Harden was bitching so much... EG too... on calls that were obvious. Maybe the refs have had enough.

So it isn’t the FO though... it’s the ownership... I called this last year. I said their owner may not be willing to pay the giant tax to keep this all together. I honestly thought Capela would get close to the max and CP would get full 5 year max... neither happened and they still couldn’t cut the check for Ariza. Even the Anderson deal was clearly about money.

I think Morey has been neutered with an owner unwilling to spend what it would take to compete with GSW. He sunk most of his wealth into the franchise... he may now be mega rich on paper but not have a cash flow that can justify a 50M tax. My wife’s father is a real estate developer so I understand the struggles of the asset rich cash poor position... it lends itself to making some bad decisions.
 
Like how much of a discount would Ariza have given them... would he take 12M... 2/20-21... 1 year and 15M to Phoenix was weird.

I think the bad game 7 clouded their minds to what he did. It sucks to defend your *** off every night and stand in the corner and watch James and CP dribble.
 
Capela may not be pleased that they raked him over the coals this summer on the negotiations. He tweeted emojis and stuff this summer. Got much less that I would have thought. Has always had issues with running out of gas... may not be willing to kill himself if he is already paid and feels a little burned.

They got issues there... CP wears on guys... Harden not exactly a leader... and Melo is always gonna be Melo.

Yeah, they've got to be one of the most unlikeable teams in the NBA, if not THE most unlikeable.
