Rumor : Detroit and Utah talking

Daye tallied 18 points (6-12 FG, 3-4 3PT), six rebounds, and five blocks in Detroit's 91-87 exhibition loss to Cleveland Friday.

Having a 6'11 SF next to our 6'8 SG next to our 6'11 PF next to our 6'11 C would be fun.

Hypothetically, could we amnesty Ben Gordon if he continues to play poorly? I heard that you can not amnesty a player that you acquire from another team. Is that true?

Would almost be funny if we got Knight ia trade since he was the favorite of lots of peps on this board. Doubtful but there is hope.

After thinking about this I would absolutely move CJ and Jefferson for Daye and Gordon's contract.

Millsap for Daye would give us a jam at SF/SG but after this year it's Daye, Hayward, Burks. I like this for the future with Favors and Kanter inside.

I will be super surprised if any trades go down right now. If any come, it will be at the deadline. Our team is already completely lost on offense and defense. Bringing in new guys and taking out old ones would only further that confusion.

I have heard Detroit would lik eto see Daye more at the two. Could you imagine a 6'11 SG? he may have the skill set to pull it off. I would do the original trade, but would also entertain Milsap for Knight and filler. I want to move Jefferson, but I really think we will regret not grabing knight. I know, broken record.

Monroe and Stuckey for Jefferson, CJ and Bell.

PG: Harris/Stuckey/Watson
SG: Burks/Hayward/Stuckey
SF: Hayward/Evans/Howard
PF: Millsap/Favors
C: Monroe/Favors/Kanter

Then we could upgrade at PG via trade or see if Stuckey is good enough to start at PG.

I am not sure I want to trade 1 big for another. That is not really fixing the logjam at the 4-5.
