For my first "official" time, I guess I did alright. I'm pretty sure my lack of stage time showed and my material wasn't executed as planned. I actually accidentally skipped some of my favorite stuff - my mind went blank. I only had 3 minutes, but it was fun. If I do it again, I plan on practicing at open mic before opening for someone.

I opened up for a few comics at a place called Wild Bean Coffee in Sandy. Open mics are at Wise Guys in Salt Lake on Wednesday nights. I'll be going there pretty soon with one of my buddies who is pretty funny.

Careful might not want to get to specific or you could have some Jazzfanz hecklers, the crowd would be confused on who Archie, MLM is and 4mo of hard lifting (or however long it was) and show us or where is your sister and/or wife comments.

Not saying it would be me as I would never heckle since I know I don't have the stones to stand up on stage like.

That's because Asians aren't funny. (until they get naked - trust me, Duck has proven it)

True story: The MC for the show was an Asian dude that kept cracking Asian jokes, kung-fu jokes and Utah County jokes. When he was up, the mic kept having problems and stuff and he was getting mad. When he called me up, I decided to do my first Asian joke and said, "I don't know about you guys, but I was getting kinda scared when the angry Asian kung-fu guy didn't have a properly working mic. I thought he was gonna start throwing Chinese stars. Then he made fun of Utah County and I about threw a dishonorable Chinese star at him."
One non-Asian guy laughed. I thought it was funny.

Good idea.
Also I'm the opposite of that whenever I set in the front row and things may not be going well for the comedian or it's part of their act I'm the one they target. Guess I'm an obvious mark skinny red head with obvious shy traits, not that I mind laughing at myself and it's good fun just hate the attention of people looking at me.
One time on a comedic magician act after a couple of the comedians gave me a hard time he called me on stage to help and it was way WAY cool, after I got over my face feeling like it was on fire.
