Still think it just got announced in a way that they weren't planning so they have to backtrack a bit.

I think that all of these shenanigans prove how important this process has been to Gordon -- specifically with respect to raising his profile.

I also think it demonstrates how it's nearly impossible to keep control over a message. His team might not have leaked a damn thing, and this all spiraled out of control anyway. ****ing crazy.

My son, who is a Nuggets fan, just called me to rub it in and tell me the Jazz will be last in the division now. I told him that I think the Jazz could still be better than the Nuggets. I have faith in DL and he will get the players we need. He laughed at me.

I talked with him a bit and then he kept rubbing it in and I hung up on him.

i've long said this roster can absorb the blow of losign hayward better than many will admit and they can still make the playoffs this year, and i stand by it.

Have no idea who you are. But you were a "fan," left when there was a slight bit of doubt over what would happened, have been looking for a new team to go bother and now come back to rub salt in the wounds?

Yep. But not me - I only momentarily tried to get on the Hayward bandwagon after a month long mourning period after KOC drafted him. But I couldn't sustain it, so I've been pretty anti-Hayward about 90% of the time. I never liked the taste of the G-time koolaid. But I'm really liking the D-Mitch koolaid. So if this is true I'm happy.

Sorry to all y'all who wanted him back though.

My favorite part of this is that Jody Genessy confirmed reports that he was gone to Boston and then backtracked. I would to know how he "confirmed" the report.

When a lot of reliable people tell you one thing, you report. Sometimes reliable people can be duped.
