Still don't believe in evolution? Try this!

Extinction and evolution are mutually exclusive, as hard as you are trying to put a causal relationship from one to the other.

1. Two things that are mutually exclusive cannot coexist. What makes you believe that evolution and extinction cannot coexist?

2. A causal relationship means that A causes B or B causes A. I have not even implied that extinction causes evolution or evolution causes extinction. It is pretty obvious that a critter can evolve and not go extinct. Also pretty obvious that a critter that is "evolutionarily stable" (not evolving much) could go extinct.

No it means they cannot occur at the same time. I fail to see how you can evolve and go extinct at the same time. It also generally colloquially refers to two events that do not necessarily depend on each other or that can occur without the other occurring. If you want to split hairs we can discuss relativity of simultaneity.

What version of the bible are you referring to? In every version of the Bible that I can find Deuteronomy 13:6-10 is always about puting to death someone that tries to get you to serve other gods.

It required superior loyalty and devotion to God to testify against a close family member or friend and then to be the first to share in the execution of that one. Of course, some persons might consider this to be too severe. But was it?

What if the idolatrous relative or friend were allowed to continue living and to influence others for wrong? This would have led to very serious, yes, tragic, consequences. Prostitution, homosexuality, drunkenness and child sacrifice were among the abominable practices associated with idolatry. (1*Ki. 14:24; Jer. 19:3-5; Hos. 4:13, 14; Amos 2:8) Think how damaging to the moral fiber of the nation of Israel such degrading practices would be and what sorrow and injury they would cause. Hence, the death of the idolater would shield many from the untold suffering that his influence would surely have brought if he were permitted to continue.

Today, of course, Christians are not authorized to execute idolaters. Nevertheless, it is still true that yielding to the influence of a close family member or friend to disregard God’s law can only spell disaster.

Don't know if your Mormon or not, but surely those who are.....consider it not the best when they marry outside of there beliefs, standards and principles, no?

...simply because critters do not EVOLVE! They mate and have offspring within there "kind" but that's it! Extinction, with the exception of dinosaurs, is due to man's selfishness and greed and inability to care for the earth's environment! Agree?

So your hypothesis is that things change but there is a limit on how much it can change.

Correct! They can change to a small or even large extent....within there "kind!"

What evidence do you have to support this hypothesis (please no plagiarism).

....we can start with the fossil record as well as observation! Loaded with evidence that mammals, birds, reptiles, fish come in enormous varieties, shapes and colors.....but mammals remain mammals, birds remain birds, reptiles remain reptiles and fish remain fish!

And do you believe that God sets this limit or is it a natural limit, determined by our DNA?

...well since God created "DNA".....the answer to both questions is yes!

....by the way, no "plagiarism" here!

No it means they cannot occur at the same time.

To not coexist is to not exist at the same time and mutually exclusive is to not occur at the same time. If you think that is different I won't waste time arguing trivia.

Although I suspect you were being deliberately obtuse and you actually already understand this, my comments about evolution and extinction were related to the concepts not being mutually exclusive.

You know how sometimes christians will say to nonchristians "Don't judge all Christians based off of your experience with a few nut jobs".

You are one of those nut jobs.

I'm conflicted. I don't approve of CJ, but love nutjobs.

...simply because critters do not EVOLVE!

Technically true. Populations evolve, individuals develop..

They mate and have offspring within there "kind" but that's it!

That's what evolutionary theory teaches. Fish produce fish, and men are a kind of fish that have adapted to live on land.

Extinction, with the exception of dinosaurs, is due to man's selfishness and greed and inability to care for the earth's environment! Agree?

There have been five major waves of extinction prior to the existence of men. Any old-earth creationist should recognize this evidence.
