Summer League: Utah vs Detroit Mon. July 9th 1:00 MT

Evans is in Orlando, but not playing?

Brian T. Smith: #UtahJazz's Jeremy Evans was teased by Alec Burks about becoming big time after signing his $5 million contract. To prove he's keeping it real, Evans — who was eating a cafeteria-style dinner with Jazz #SummerLeague team — held up a bag of popcorn.

Actually, that makes perfect sense. If he has agreed in principle with the Jazz on the contract, but hasn't actually signed it yet, then there's no way he should risk injury until the contract is 100% official.

Is there a particular reason Favors isn't participating? He needs it as much as anybody.

(In case you are, Favors and Hayward are with the U.S. Olympic Team's practice squad.)

dont get To carried away by One game but I still think Kanter will be awesome I watched some of it but just stopped watching Cuz I got bored ha ha ha But i like What i see from Murph and stockton Gaffney is kinda nice to I think who knows

@ Enes Can Tear You Apart;
yeah I know and remember that!
take care
me goes to sleep now, me tired, tis 01.39 o'clock and I have a lecture to tell 2morrow.

If the Jazz FO had any smarts, they would lose and let the young players play all the minutes to foster growth. Well known fact. Anyone with more than 10 minutes real NBA game time should be benched immediately and for the duration of summer league play for the good of our future.

Reminder to Locke: And Kanter was schooled today by an 18 year old who hasn't played a single game in the NBA. Hey, but at least Enes can hit about 60% of his FT's compared to Drummond's 30%. So he's got him there.

Gosh damnit you're dumb. Look, Kanter had a bad game, we get it. Now stop freaking out, it happens. People have bad games. Michael Jordan has had bad games, Kobe Bryant has had bad games, LeBron James has had bad games.

Now I'm going to break it down for you...there's a reason that Drummond was considered a possible #1 pick at one point. He has great size, strength and athleticism. He's a freak, basically. He really struggled at UConn, but I have a feeling he's trying to prove some people wrong about him, and Detroit is a tough team that's going to push him along further. Players like Drummond are players that Kanter is going to struggle against, luckily for us, there's not a lot of players like Drummond in the NBA. Now stop overreacting over 1 freaking game in the freaking summer league, you're over-analyzing and it's annoying the hell out of me.
