Wow. I accidentally made my first game thread (maybe) and it will probably be the first game thread ever created before the previous game was completed. This is the sort of thing that could completely mess up the time space continuum and cause us to lose nearly every game for the rest of the year.

You are right they are not. But I'd bet the Jazz are in the bottom 4-5 at best. And GS who has injury prone players all over their roster could be 1 extended injury to Curry away from a lottery trip.

As ridiculous as some might think believing that GS will miss the playoffs, so is thinking that they are guaranteed to make the playoffs after 10 games knowing the injury history of their key guys. GS will need just as much luck as the Jazz will need to have the GS pick be in the lottery. Even if it is a low lottery pick, it still has a small chance to be a high pick. Yes a small chance just like their is a small chance that GS doesn't make the playoffs. Nevertheless a chance.

I remember that, I think Denver was the 8th seed with 50 wins, and Golden State was just out of the playoffs with 48 wins. It was a crazy year in the west. There were only a couple teams with losing records.

If all goes according to plan, we could be 1-19 by the time Trey comes back. That's one hell of a head start on the other tankers.

There was a season not too long ago that EVERY WC playoff team won at least 50 games. That could very well be the case this season.

If Tinfoil State won 50 games but missed the playoffs and then pulled off the miracle to win the lottery I don't think I would be able to quite laughing for the entire summer. It would be even sweeter if we handed them one or more losses along the way. Please God, make this happen. You know it would be the right thing to do.

I have no idea what fish's opinion will be, but I want you to know that I consider you the best jagoff mod and I have repped accordingly. Agreed it should be game thread tho.

Four losses might be the difference between a #16 pick and a #23 pick, though. Or something along those lines.
