The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

Believe what you want but the classified documents were in Biden's possession for years with no one caring about them. Hillary didn't cooperate or return the documents and her house wasn't raided. The documents Pence had weren't that important and neither was the stuff Hillary mishandled. Trump did have classified documents, but the classified documents were only the cover used to urgently recover, or to check if any copies were made, of the kind of documentary proof that could spark a civil war. In the immediate aftermath of January 6, that may have been a clear and present danger justifying almost anything, certainly including raiding the home of a former president on national television.
Stuff can be important or unimportant. You are missing the key thing though. Return when told to = no FBI raid.
If trump returned everything when told to then he isn't raided.

The NY Post article linked above and that I quoted.

Perhaps a more interesting question is to ask what you'd do in their shoes. Suspend disbelief for a moment and suppose everything I said is fact: Entities working for the US government had been overzealous and crossed a line, the government's ability to dismiss evidence as Russian disinformation being severely degraded by recent claims over Hunter Biden's laptop as Russian disinformation revealed to have been American disinformation, a sizable chunk of the population were like a tinderbox due to believing the system had been rigged, January 6 drove home how serious the situation was, and the cult-of-personality leader had in his possession proof of the system being weaponized.

When civil wars happen, people die. A lot of people die. As the head of an intelligence agency, what would you be willing to do to keep that proof from ever seeing the light of day in hopes the temperature could be lowered?
Ok, I will assume everything you said is fact. Trump returns the proof he had in his possession and mar a lago doesn't get raided. That was easy

Yes, but it was because of what they thought Trump had. The intelligence agencies needed to raid the location, lock it down, and conduct the search themselves. The material prompting the raid, which was allegedly wasn't even classified material as it was declassified before Trump left office, is a single binder containing evidence of American intelligence agencies committing election interference in the 2016 election.
:p:p:p:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hillary did not return when told to return and was not raided. It is a nice story and I can see why you want to stick with it, but the way Trump was handled was special and it wasn't because he dared to frustrate the super scary National Archive, who had been to Mar-a-Lago to see the classified documents at issue. The FBI didn't raid Mar-a-Lago because the National Archives instructed them to. They don't have that kind of juice. The FBI raided Mar-a-Lago because the Dept of Homeland Security instructed them to, and the NY Post story explains why / what they were looking for.

The NY Post article linked above and that I quoted.
The NYPost is relaying information from a Substack article, said article having a lie in its first paragraph.
Last year, John Durham, a special prosecutor for the Department of Justice (DOJ), concluded that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) should never have opened its investigation of alleged collusion by then-presidential candidate Donald J. Trump and Russia in late July of 2016.
Durham said the FBI opened the wrong sort of investigation, not that there should never have been one. That's the level of honesty you can expect from the authors of the Twitter files.

There was a lot more than just one folder.

Incorrect about Hillary. She cooperated. Trump did the opposite of cooperate and it got him raided.

Look, if the fbi had what they wanted then what would be the point of a raid? Again, Trump returns the proof he had in his possession and mar a lago doesn't get raided.

This Christian Nationalism stuff is so dumb. Brain rot like the above movie skip right over the inconvenient statistics to show fanatics saying fanatical things. Surprise! There are fanatics saying fanatical things in almost every interest group.

Here are the statistics: The person most likely to be a Christian Nationalist in America today is a Black Woman over the age of 65. The idea is also steadily dying out in America as seen by the steady decline with youth.

None of this should come as even slightly surprising for anyone paying even moderate attention to history. A hundred years ago the Christian Nationalist KKK was a powerful force pounding burning crosses into people's front yards while the US President was showing Birth of a Nation in the White House. Today religion is dying out, and most of the high profile racist episodes end up being hoaxes.

Tucker Carlson says he went “from amused to legitimately angry” at U.S. political leaders during a recent trip to a Moscow grocery store, where the independent conservative journalist and his crew guessed that a cart full of food would cost about the equivalent of $400 in American dollars – and it came in around a hundred bucks.
“So we were guessing what this would cost,” Carlson said as he puts his items on the belt. “Everybody [in the crew] is from the United States … and we didn’t pay any attention to cost, we just put in the cart what we would actually eat over a week. We all [guessed] around $400 bucks. It was $104 U.S. here. And that’s when you start to realize that ideology doesn’t matter as much as you thought.”

Tucker loves communism confirmed. Also did he do a quick check to see the wages of the russian people compared to US? Also, is tucker struggling to afford groceries? Also lol at anyone believing tucker or his crew goes grocery shopping.

from the comments section:
USA per-capita GDP is $72,250
Russia is $12,500
That is SIX times difference, yet Russians pay one-fourth as much for equivalent groceries. Therefore, it is STILL relatively much better (50% again) to be a U.S. citizen buying groceries in the US than a Russian citizen buying groceries in Russia.

When you travel to a place where their currency has fallen against the dollar, yes everything is cheap. My girl and I each had steak dinners in Argentina with 3 bottles of wine 2 appetizers for $20. It wasn't because the country was thriving it was because the dollar was strong against their currency. Must be Tuckers first time traveling outside the country.

Yeah I don’t understand his point. He doesn’t understand economies of scale or wartime supply and demand? Or is he a socialist who thinks we should subsidize food prices far more than we do so that our prices are just as cheap as Russia’s?

Tucker be like "hey guys, I just discovered something amazing that no one else knows about! Stuff is cheaper in poorer countries! Americans simply need to make way less money and have much worse lifestyles and then stuff will cost less!"

****ing dumbass.

I was in Moscow in the 1990s just before Moscow's 500 year celebration. In the parts of the city that were going to be "on display" they renovated the facades of buildings. We had some ex-KGB security/ interpreters and had freedom to walk around. The buidings behind the facade were crumbling.

Tucker is being given a tour of the best of Moscow, all dressed up.

The sad part is that Tucker knows it is a facade and that a country build on socialism has poor with decrepit infrastructure. He is choosing to lie about it and pointing a lens onto the parts of Moscow that have been maintained (yes, the every subway station is amazing, I've ridden on it many times). I'm unsure if he is on Vlad's payroll, there is kompromat, or is if is just a traitor. It is not going to end well for him.

Tucker/ Bannon/ Trump/ Miller/ MTG will go down as all time traitors to the USA. Move over Benedict Arnold and McCarthy. And the real villains are all the people who knew the truth and didn't have the balls to say a word, kissing Donnie's ring and cowering. Romney, Cheney and a few others with courage will be remembered well by history.

Many Russian men drink themselves to death in their 50s. Avg life expectancy is mid-60s. Women for some reason seem to have more hope.
