Yes, that's right. Just saying that if you look at DX's measurement's, DM's standing reach is quite on the low end of similar-height players with long wingspans. He's wider than most, but doesn't seem that much wider relative to his impressive wingspan. But I very well could be wrong in trying to figure out where he "should" be on this measure.
If the measurement is right, I think it's a reminder for the basketball world generally not to be so obsessed with wingspan as the sole measure of length. Standing reach (admittedly more important for Cs and PFs) should be looked at as well. And maybe we (Jazz fans generally) ought recognize that DM is more undersized (for a SG) than we sometimes think when we just refer to his wingspan.
