And it is soooo important to teach personal lessons at the expense of the team's win/loss record. The one thing Exum excels at is defense and Portland's guards were burning us bigtime, so it only makes sense that Quin would teach Exum a lesson by giving him half the minutes he gave Mack.
No because Exum continuing to be so damn passive is bigger than one game. You saw the paddycakes he was playing with Diaw. That can't be allowed to continue. Mack is who he is and isn't going to be developed, he should be a minimum Exum needs overcome if he intends to get minutes. Exum finally manned up and started driving with the intention of taking a shot. I'll bet the threat of not getting playing time had something to do with that.
